Top 5 Couples of Telly Wood

Hello,
With the first post of this blog, I would like to post the Top 5 Couples of Tellywood of all time.

We will start with couple no. 5 and go to couple no. 1.

5) Prithvi-Damini (Love Ne Mila Di Jodi):- She was arrogant and stronheaded, he was calm and down-to-earth. She was a fierce feminist who knew that she didn't need men to protect her. He was the guy who protected her. When they met, they fought and fought, but mostly, they fell in love.

4) Samrat-Gunjan (Miley Jab Hum Tum):- He was the ultimate dude of the college, the top basketball player, one of the most handsome students. Girls were crazy about him. He was the ultimate flirt. She was the sweet seedhi-saadhi small town girl who lived by the rules. They became friends, best friends. It required a "kabab-main-haddi" for him to realise that he loved her. Over all their pure love did win it all.

3) Karan-Nandini (Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi):- If one asks for a lovestory that spread over generations, Karan and Nandini are the first names that pop into your head. Seamless lovers who were torn apart from each other more than once, yet their love, faith and trust were so strong that it brought them together again. In a way it's a message that, love will always find a way.

2) Veer-Ayesha (Jaane Pechane Se Yeh Ajnabbi) :- Their lovestory started the day both of them set off on a journey to Shimla together. Unknown to each other, their destination was the same, so was their destiny...TOGETHER. They hated, they fought and most importantly, they loved. When one says death cannot defy love, they were probably talking with VeeSha in mind. Or rather, almost-death. With a new face and identity Ayesha is back, to claim what is hers, justice for her sister, her nephew and most importantly, Veer.

1) Mayank-Nupur (Miley Jab Hum Tum) :- The winners of the TOP 5 COUPLES OF TELLYWOOD are none other than MayUr aka Mayank and Nupur from the popular Star One show Miley Jab Hum Tum. Of course, credit has to be given to ace actors Arjun Bijlani and Rati Pandey.

Mayank and Nupur started off as frenemies (Friends+Enemies). He hated her constant chatter and her histrionic ways, but she was his first REAL friend. She hated his boring ways, but admired him for who he was. They had a major row which kept constantly at each other's throats. She slogged day in and day out to beat him in the exams. He, for the first time felt insecure about his studies. When she came second, behind him by only TWO marks, his respect for her grew. She was now an equal.

Then came the famous Academic Meet. The Academic Meet which had them go all the way to Ahmedabad all by themselves. They knew they HAD to stop bickering with each other to win. During this time he fell in love, with her. He passed it off as "desert island syndrome", but the undeniable attraction he felt for her said it all.

No matter how much fault he found in her, no matter how much he avoided her, no matter how much he tried to hate her, his heart knew one thing, HE LOVED HER. And it wasn't long enough before she fell for him too and they became a couple.

They had misunderstandings, but those just brought them closer, closer than ever. After fighting for him, going against the world for him, she married him, tying them together in a beautiful and wonderful bond.

And if these are not reasons enough why they are the top couple. They taught every young girl that not all guys are cheap, wonderful guys like Mayank do exist.
